BACK TO TRAVEL!
PARTICIPATION IN ACTIVITIES DURING THE COVID-19 PHASE
Do I need a swab to leave?If 15 days have not passed since the first vaccine dose was administered, you must take a swab test, at the travelers’ expense. Validity is 72 hours for molecular tests and 48 hours for rapid antigen tests. The swab can be done at any testing center, hospital, pharmacy, etc. The negative result must be shown on a certificate.
And if I got the vaccine, do I still need the swab? In Italy, to obtain the Green Pass it is enough to have had the first vaccine dose for at least 15 days. If so, it is not necessary to take a swab.
What happens if the swab is positive before departure?If the swab is positive before departure and you have therefore contracted Covid, it will not be possible to leave.
Do I need a Green Pass to leave?
Not necessarily.
The Green Pass is a document obtained under one of the following 3 conditions:
having been vaccinated against Covid-19 with one dose at least 14 days before departure;
having recovered from Covid-19;
having taken a molecular swab within the last 72 hours.
Therefore, to leave you only need a certificate, either paper or digital, proving one of the 3 conditions. The situation is constantly evolving and current regulations may change beyond our control. We will be happy to inform you in good time of any updates, to ensure you a calm and safe trip.
