What’s your idea of sustainable and responsible?
Our traditions and the shape of the land make Abruzzo a wonderful place. Too often there is irresponsible tourism. We support true sustainable development through conservation, the local economy, social solidarity and respect for the environment. Unless requested or in special cases, we recommend small family-run stays; we offer hands-on activities with small local professionals, local farmers, winemakers and local restaurants. We visit local artisans and boutique shops and encourage you to taste their products. We prefer to stay away from the big tourist circuits.
We always recommend experiences, even in the low season, because we want to keep them different from the usual and make sure our local business owners have income year-round, so they can offer high-quality services.
